Assalaamu Alaykum Students and Parents
It is our sincere Dua that this communique finds you in good health and imbued with high spirits of Iman during these sacred days of Dhil al-Hijjah.
We take this opportunity to inform you that the Second Semester will commence on Monday, 27 July 2020, as previously communicated. IPSA is governed by the regulations of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and the National Lockdown Levels. We are only allowed to operate at 33% capacity of student population. It is hereby that we inform of the following:
- Selected levels will be allowed on campus during designated days.
1.1 BA I & BA III students will be allowed on campus on Mondays and Thursdays. only.
1.2 HCIS students will be allowed on campus on Tuesdays and Fridays.
1.3 BA II students on Wednesdays.
- All lectures will continue as per the timetable times.
- Face-to-face and remote learning will continue to take place.
- IPSA will provide support to all students requiring assistance. Computers and internet will be provided on campus from 08h00 to 15h00 from Mondays to Thursdays and from 08h00 to 11h00 on Fridays. Students requiring support must contact the HOD of Student Affairs, Sh F Owaisi.
- Students with a reliable internet service at home may continue with remote learning.
- Students with co-morbidities and high risk will be allowed to continue with remote learning.
- The Learner Management System (LMS) will be the main platform for learning.
- Students unable to attend contact sessions will be allowed to join the Zoom lessons.
